I don't understand the PCIe slot thing...should I take out the old graphics card and just use this new one or can I just add this one in via the PCIe?
I'm upgrading the RAM too.
So apparently this one won't fit inside the tower very well, should I get a 'low profile' card?

You have the available PCIe x16 slot to physically install it, however, the power supply on your PC is incapable of supporting this video card (it needs more juice than your power supply can give).
Another potential problem it that this card is rather long (almost 9 inches) & it may be a really tight fit inside your tower....& it requires that the adjacent slot below it be vacant.
All said & done ....I would forget it.

Low profile is not the solution. The problem is that this card may be too long ..low profile refers to height not length.
Most other cards would fit ... the 8800 series is an exception in that it is longer than most.
