Dual Link DVI or just 2 dvi ports?
i have an 8800 gts 512 and it has 2 dvi ports and i only have one hooked up to the hdtv so does that mean i get half the transmitting power or is the dual link inside the cable itself and the other dvi is for another dispay or something? right now im using a dvi cable that connects from my card (in the pc) to my hdtv that is hdmi on the tv end it this the best possible hi defination conection?
they are both dual link DVI on the 8800GTS. and you only need Dual Link DVI for resolutions larger than 1920x1200. so, the TV would be getting full quality regardless.
