Can I record from a VHS tape onto DV with my Canon GL2?
Trying to record from a VCR -- have plugged the RCA cables into the "output" of the VCR, the other side is an AC cable which I have plugged into the GL2. Can I record the contents of the tape onto DV? If so, how?
My Canopus ADVC 110 has a short and will not be fixed in time -- any other solutions would be appreciated.
The only solution, as I see it, is a DVD recorder. I have one from Pioneer and really enjoy it. I've copied countless video tapes and record TV programs all the time.
Unless you have some kind of converter between the analog and digital devices I'd say no
